For instance, custodial parents who are unable to find non-custodial parents can use this office to help them. Federal Child Support Enforcement uses the Federal Parent Locater Service to do just this. The office can also help custodial parents in establishing paternity, obtaining a court order so that the non-custodial parent must pay child support, enforce this court order so that the custodial parent actually receives the child support and much more.
