Visitation Child Support

Custody, Visitation, Child Support and Alimony are all issues that individuals take up in a court of law. Typically, when one parent is given full custody of their children, the non-custodial parent will receive some type of visitation rights. It is the responsibility of the custodial parent to ensure that they allow their children to spend time during the allotted visitation time with their non-custodial parent. Also, non-custodial parents are also typically required to pay child support. This amount is determined by several things including income, expenses, the number of children involved, medical care and more. It is the responsibility of the non-custodial parent to pay the child support for the financial needs of the children. If the non-custodial parent does not pay, or the custodial parent does not allow the non-custodial parent to have visitation - consequences may arise. Individuals should consider consulting a child support or family law attorney before attending court. This will ensure that they know their rights and options under the law.
